On August 18, 2020 at 13:00 UTC, the Internet Society and Flexoptix are partnering to organize a virtual workshop on optical transceiver basics and modules for the African Internet Exchange Point (IXP) community.

The workshop aims to equip African IXP operators with knowledge about optical transceiver technologies (basics), which, subsequently, will enable IXP operators to offer a better and innovative services to their peers.
