Cybersecurity Hackathon 2024

The cybersecurity hackathon is the first of its kind in Lesotho where Basotho students from different institutions of higher learning will showcase their cybersecurity skills in malware analysis, threat intelligence, cryptography, forensics and other related cybersecurity topics.

A preliminary cybersecurity competition in Lesotho is set to take place from August 27th-31th August , 2024, conducted entirely online. Among all participants , only six teams will advanced to the finals. The finals of the cybersecurity challenge in Lesotho will take place over two days online (2nd - 3rd November, 2024), concluding with an in-person event at the Avani Maseru Hotel on 4th November 2024.

The initiative aims to enhance cybersecurity awareness and skills among participants, reflecting the growing importance of cybersecurity in the region.
