Closes just before midnight, Sunday 8 November · Final scores announced after the round
The preliminary round of the 2026 Lesotho Cybersecurity Hackathon is under way. It opened at midnight on Friday 6 November and runs until just before midnight on Sunday 8 November 2026. Students from the National University of Lesotho (NUL), Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT), Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) and Botho University (BU) are showing what they can do: cracking, defending, investigating and reverse engineering.
This year's challenges centre on industrial control systems, embedded and smart devices, firmware analysis, industrial protocols and the networks behind them, alongside account manipulation, network analysis, forensics, web attacks and cryptography. Only the 10 highest-scoring teams will go through to the finals.
This is a snapshot from the evening of 6 November 2026, not the final standings. Final scores will be published after the round closes on Sunday.

M47 led the early field with 98 solves, 24 first bloods and solves across 10 competencies.
